It’s Monday, My Guy
That means it’s time for a shower, shave, makeup, coffee, medical marijuana, and some coffee. These chronic conditions won’t manage themselves.
The Eyes Are Heavy
With that title, I’m thinking of the Andy Sandberg and Snoop Dog commercial where Andy is “rapping” but is told by Snoop Dog how bad it was. Or that 8-Mile song. You know the one.
Anyways…
Things are looking up this week. There are some changes happening that I’ve been looking forward to for some time now. One such item of change is the final dental appointment for a long, long while. Hopefully, they don’t screw up implanting the remaining permanent crown.
How about you? Are you looking forward to something this week?
Getting A Fresh Start
Seeing as it is Monday, it’s time for a “fresh start.” Yeah, it’s THAT kind of week. Why do we always like starting on a Monday instead of the day changes are needed most? Idk. I’m not gonna get into that here.
During the Autumn Equinox, it rained here. That’s kind of unusual for this time of year. But it’s a good thing. At least for me, it is. The rains signaled to me that better things are coming.
Better things like finally getting a long enough ethernet cord for a wired connection instead of wireless. Going wireless costs me half the speed I’m paying for each month. I’ll be hitting up Best Buy today finally.
What I’m most excited about this week are a few clothes I’m taking a risk on. It’s time for a little exploration.

Hmm. What should you know about me? I wonder. AHA!! I got it! I…(a few hours later)… am the author of the picture book Over The Creek (2019). I like blogging. I’m a professional procrastinator (oh, come on – all of us are). Oh, and I am a proud father of a really cool daughter. If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t be here writing weird posts and posts about books and writing related stuff.
Writing advice? Um. Let’s see…my advice would be … poof!! … cliffhanger!!
