A Race to #PitMad

Here we go!

We are officially 30 days away from the next #PitMad event of the year.

What is #PitMad you ask?

#PitMad is the original Twitter pitch event, where writers tweet a 280-character pitch for their completed, polished, unpublished manuscripts. No previously published works. Agents and acquiring editors make requests by liking/favoriting the tweeted pitch.

Here goes writing and editing each day and night till the night before. Have an episode of existential crisis the night before and pitch, pitch, pitch between 8:00AM – 8:00PM EST. I want you all to follow along with me using the #pitmadrace tag.

What will I be writing?

Well, I’ve outlined one chapter book so far but haven’t broken it down too much yet. So, starting out, it’s going to be a mix of re-outlining, fine-tuning plot details, characters, settings, blah-blah-blah. How much writing I will actually do tonight or tomorrow? That remains to be seen.

In the meantime, I’d love to bring you all on this little and horrifying adventure of mine.

Will you be participating? Leave a “Yeppers” in the comments!
